In honor of the birthday of American author Jack London, we celebrate the gift of literature and freedom of expression with a night of dramatic readings, historical re-enactments, presentations and storytelling. $3 door goes to scheduled speakers and gets you raffle tickets to win fabulous prizes!

David Loftus of “Storytime for Grownups”
Brian Belafante and Matt Jones and “Dr Coldwater” an 1800s surveyor and geographer, and Lara Messersmith Glavin.
OPEN MIC at 9:30pm. All writers, speakers, poets or anyone with something to say are welcome to take the mic and be heard for 5 mins. Spread the word! Invite your friends.

You are cordially invited to the newest technology and design community group in Portland.Part Ignite (if you haven’t been, you should), part Pint (if you remember back that far),part MindShare (if you want to meet new people), Spark is a monthly meet up for technologists, designers, developers, product managers, agency wonks, project managers, producers, database geeks, and other nerds of all flavors.
Each month we’ll host a speaker, demonstration, experiment, lecture, or learning exercise for a short time at the beginning of the evening. Then we’ll turn the music up, the lights down, and rock the night away at the Jack London Bar. Let’s mix. Let’s mingle. Let’s share ideas.
